Street Boy Who Scored 406 in 2018 KCPE Exams

A street boy, Abraham John, beat all odds to score 406 marks in the 2018 KCPE exams.

According to People Daily, the boy took to the street of Kitale town after losing both of his parents.

“I lost my parents some years ago and I have been surviving on help from well-wishers,” John was quoted.

It’s from the streets that Phillip Nyongesa, the headteacher of King Prince Royal School identified John’s brilliance and offered him a scholarship at the school.

I came across John in the streets and I realised he was a bright boy. I enrolled him and allowed him to learn without having to pay a single cent,” Nyongesa stated.

The boy who attributed his success to hard work and the support by well-wishers hopes to join Lenana High School.

Belive in your dreams, they were given to you for a reason
